Water, soil and plant testing

Water and soil are the most important basic resources for plant growth, so their proper rehabilitation and utilization for food production and environmental protection is of particular importance.

One of the tasks that should be considered when constructing greenhouses is to study the properties of the soil, which is known as the water-soil-plant test or the plant-soil water test.

For this purpose, agricultural experiments are performed on the soil to examine important physical and chemical properties.

The best time to study the soil is usually in spring and autumn before planting and growing seasons.

Does the soil need fertilizer or not? Or does the soil have enough nutrients for plant growth?

To test the soil, a sample should be taken from the soil depth and soil surface. If the soil in the cultivation area is almost uniform and one type of crop is grown, there is no need for multiple sampling from different parts of the soil.

After harvesting the sample, the soil is sent to agricultural laboratories and tested for salinity, percentage of sodium and water salts, acidity and structure of soil texture and…
